Christin was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where she attended the University of Southern California, majoring in fine arts. She began her career in jewelry design in 1971, and soon became nationally recognized as a leader in the creation of innovative jewelry.
In 1976, Christin moved her studios to Sedona, Arizona where she began creating jewelry with beautiful Swarovski crystal. Christin fashioned a technique using very fine 14 Karat gold-filled chain with the crystal to create its distinctive ultra-delicate look and beautiful use of color. Christin’s color palette is one of the most extensive in crystal jewelry with colors and blends including pastels, jewel tones, metallics, neutrals, and clear crystal. The trademark “Rainbow” necklace, for which she is well known and which she originated in the early 80’s, remains a gallery favorite.
